Caltech
The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) will join us with multiple teams of scientsits and engineers. The events are still being planned, so check back for updates.
Drive a Metro Train
The LA Metro serves a quarter of all Californians in the country’s largest, most populous county. We know it by its trains that regularly pass by AV campus. Metro staff will join us at AV and show you how to drive a (simulated) Metro train!
From Cells to Chromosomes
How did you get your eye color? Why do you like your favorite foods? The answer is in your cells and chromosomes. USC Prof. Unmesh Jadhav will lead an event showing cells, how they work, and their connection to genetics.
Interactive Robotics Demo
See, learn, and play with real robots! Robotics team coaches Simon Pei & Kin Lee will be joined by two Middle School teams as part of the FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) program (https://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc). A Caltech group will join with a programmable dog robot!

View the planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies with telescopes and guided viewing of the night sky.
